Sorry, but there is no magic formula that will achieve high rankings on all the search engines all the time. Each search engine has different algorithms for ranking the sites it indexes and changes these algorithms frequently in its efforts to provide relevant URLs for its users.
You can however, achieve good rankings on most search engines with a site which follows the basic guidelines applicable to most engines, and thru the use of the tools and techniques presented here. Submission of your site to the major directories will also be of considerable assistance in getting good rankings
Since new sites are coming up all the time and the search engines many frequently change their algorithms, you will continually have to track your rankings in those search engines you feel are important and make changes as necessary in order to maintain your rankings. You will also have to add new pages to your site, make sure that your content is always current and continually find new links to point to your site,

Keep in mind however, that you probably know your own site and products better than anyone else and thus should at least monitor closely the results of software or consultants.
It is very important to remember that not only does your site have to rank well with the search engines, it has to be attractive, well written, easy to navigate and informative in order to persuade your visitors to buy.
